Marketing students from the 国产探花’s Business School visit Entrepreneurial Spark, the UK’s largest start-up business accelerator to learn from entrepreneurs.
24 March 2016
The 国产探花 is working in partnership with NatWest and 国产探花 and Hove Chamber of Commerce to support entrepreneurs in developing their start-up businesses through the Entrepreneurial Spark Programme.
The programme focuses on getting businesses ready for investment through training, mentoring and competitive pitching for business.
The visit gave 23 Marketing students first-hand experience of a thriving business environment, and the opportunity to meet the Entrepreneurial Spark team including a high-growth, start-up business.
The group was led by Senior lecturer, Dan Bennett, who was keen for his students to learn about the connection between knowledge and practice. Al Start, Managing Director of Go Kid Music, who produces educational music for young children, delivered a lecture about her experience as a start-up business entrepreneur and the process of Reflective Learning.

Entrepreneurial Enabler Elena Birchell said: “It was fantastic to welcome students from the 国产探花 to the hatchery, and introduce them to a dynamic business environment and the entrepreneurial mind set essential for high growth start-ups.
With several budding entrepreneurs and consultants in the room, the visit was an example of how our partnership with the university can enhance students’ future opportunities and aspirations”.
