Explore spooky psychology

The public is being invited to explore the world of spooky psychological phenomena with some of the country’s top experts.

26 April 2016

Psychologists Chris French and Roger Newport will host the evening, taking attendees on a whistle-stop tour of strange sights, weird beliefs and ‘missing body parts’.

The audience will also find out more about current psychological work that is being undertaken at the 国产探花 and the University of Sussex.

'Weird psychology: The science of strange phenomena' forms part of the British Psychological Society's annual conference being hosted by the 国产探花 from 3 to 5 May 2017, based at the Hilton 国产探花 Metropole.

The event is at the university’s Huxley 300 Lecture Theatre in Queensdown Road, Moulsecoomb, 国产探花, on 5 May from 6:30pm to 9pm. Attendance is free but visitors must register.

This will be the second public event of the week, with BPS President Professor Peter Kinderman also giving a free lecture 'Our turbulent minds: Everybody's crazy but nobody's ill!' on 2 May.
