The new strategy sets out the university’s mission to realise potential and shape futures through high-quality, practice-based learning, teaching, research and enterprise.

Over the next five years the university plans to maintain student numbers at their current levels whilst carrying out a major expansion of university-provided student accommodation. It will also complete the multi-million pound transformation of its Moulsecoomb campus and make further enhancements to its other campuses in 国产探花 and Eastbourne.

Key elements of the new strategy include:

• Reshaping the university’s academic offer and developing an innovative curriculum to ensure a focus on quality, academic strength and sustainability
• Prioritising investment in high-quality research and related enterprise activities that deliver positive impacts regionally, nationally and globally
• Building leadership and management capability, enabling cross-departmental working and celebrating diversity
• Creating vibrant, green and sustainable campus environments with expanded provision of student accommodation, improved learning spaces and new facilities
• Managing resources and finances in a sustainable way to enable continued strategic investment.
